The tube inserts or ferrules are used in condensers and heat exchangers to protect the tube mouth end from erosion.
Inserts are manufactured in plastic, metal and ceramic.
In metal the inserts are manufactured according to the tube material. Valqua can supply in inserts in any metal like ss, cu ni, brass, inconel etc.
Inserts are also manufactured in plastics like nylon, LDPE, PP etc.
Inserts length will be mostly the length of the erosion observed at the mouth end. In most cases the first 6 inches are more vulnerable. Hence most inserts are 6" long. Valqua can supply inserts in any lenght according to customers requirement.
