Pipe end cap generally made out of Flexible Plastic material is for preventing accumulation of dust, debris, garbage, unwanted foreign particles inside the pipeline. 
VP Engineers offers pipe end caps from 1 / 2 " to 72". 
Generally pipe end caps are for firtting on the outside (OD) of the pipeline. Pipe end caps which fit on ID (indisde Diameter) is also available.
